Hiện VZ 6.0 chưa cung cấp công cụ để backup iSCSI target. Tuy nhiên bạn có thể backup/restore target theo các bước sau:
1. Tạo một bản snapshot của Ploop LUN:
Cú pháp: ploop snapshot <PATH_LUN_iSCSI>/DiskDescriptor.xml
Ví dụ:
# ploop snapshot /pstorage/odscloud/iscsi/iqn.2014.06.com.parallels\:test245/lun1/DiskDescriptor.xml

2. Backup ảnh đĩa ploop:
Backup bản ploop ban đầu /pstorage/odscloud/iscsi/<Tên_Target>/<LUN_ID>/ploop bằng các công cụ copy như cp, sync, etc..
3. Merge snapshot ploop:
Cú pháp: ploop snapshot-merge <PATH_LUN_iSCSI>/DiskDescriptor.xml
# ploop snapshot-merge \
/pstorage/odscloud/iscsi/iqn.2014.06.com.parallels\:test245/lun1/DiskDescriptor.xml
Để restore bản backup, bạn có thể thay thể ảnh đĩa ploop hiện tại bằng bản backup.
